New Cisco Security Certification

The new Cisco ASA Specialistcertification identifies individuals who possess in-depth expertise with implementing security technologies using the Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) technologies, especially firewall and VPN functionality.
Cisco ASA Specialists possess the ability to describe, configure, verify and manage the ASA products and the Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM).
NEW Securing Networks with ASA Foundation (SNAF)
SNAF is a five-day, instructor-led, lab-intensive course which takes a task-oriented approach in teaching the skills to configure, operate, and manage products from the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance family. After completing this course the student is able to pass the 642-524 SNAF exam.
SNAF replaces the Securing Networks with PIX and ASA (SNPA) course and is part of the CCSP certification path.
NEW Securing Networks with ASA Advanced (SNAA)
SNAA is a five-day, instructor-led course replacing the Cisco Secure Virtual Private Networks (CSVPN) course and parts of the Securing Networks with PIX and ASA (SNPA) course. This task-oriented course teaches the knowledge and skills needed advanced configuration, maintenance, and operation Cisco ASA 5500 Series Adaptive Security Appliances. After completing this course the student is able to pass the 642-515 exam. SNAA is an elective part of the CCSP certification path.
The prerequisite required for the Cisco ASA Specialist is the CCNA Security certification.
The Specialist designation certifies the expertise of experienced technical professionals, and those who have earned associate or professional-level Cisco Career Certifications. Many Specialist certifications align with the requirements of the Cisco Channel Partner Program.
