----------

As the result of advances in the Cisco Collaboration Architecture portfolio, the Rich Media Cisco Qualified Specialist requirement will be removed from both the Advanced Collaboration Architecture and the Advanced Unified Communications Specializations. This requirement consists of two exams: 642-481 CRMC and 642-437 CVOICEv8.0.

Concurrently, Cisco is introducing two new exam requirements, along with complementary recommended training courses: 648-244 (Designing and Implementing Cisco UC on UCS) and 648-232 (Cisco WebEx Solutions Design and Implementation). Both new training courses will be online at the Partner Education Connection (PEC) and at no cost, and testing will be administered via Pearson VUE.

Beginning 16th July 2012, new Advanced Collaboration Architecture and Advanced Unified Communications Specialized Partners, and existing partners renewing their specialization, will have access to these new courses and exams.

The Rich Media Cisco Qualified Specialist will be available until 16th October 2012 at which time it will be permanently removed.
