Course Content

The System Administration for the Oracle Solaris 10 OS, Part 2 course helps students gain expertise in the advanced system administration concepts of Oracle Solaris 10. This course provides students with hands-on experience working with more complex and integrated administration concepts, and builds upon the System Administration for the Oracle Solaris 10 Part 1 course.

  • Configure DNS and LDAP clients.
  • Configuring zones.
  • Execute JumpStart server routines.
  • Perform Live Upgrade.
  • Perform expert-level system administration, operation, and maintenance.

Prepare for Certification
This course helps you to prepare for Part 2 of the Sun System Administration certification exam. The hands-on labs offered in this course may involve accessing equipment that resides at a location other than where the training is delivered.
