5 years experience in information security. Three years within 3 of the 5 knowledge domains (for certification). Working experience can be obtained after the training and exam.

The Certified Information Security Manager training is aimed at managing information security. CISM is based on international standards (ISO) and is one of the security- certifictions that is embrased by the US Defense organization. There where CISSP mainly aims at the technical aspects of information security, CISM is more focused on the organizational aspects.
